This year I decided to donate some of the money I have made through this website to Gift for Life, a Tear Fund campaign that runs throughout the year but is promoted during Christmas.I wanted to choose some items that would help a large group of people, and here's what I came up with:
- 2 'Bums on Seats': This will provide clean toilets and sanitation for a village
- 1 'Safe Sip': This will help provide a water source to a village in India or China
- 1 'Feed a Family': This will provide important food items to a developing country

It looks like the database and mail servers are down at our hosting provider, which is why the website is showing no flats available! And if you try sending a support email then I won't get it anyway... oh dear!
Hopefully service resumes soon :)

Over the weekend I made a small but significant change to the website. Previously when you placed a listing on the site, all your contact details were visible to the world, and anyone could email you using the little contact form. There was nothing wrong with this, as it was up to you what you felt comfortable sharing. However, I thought I should go one step further and have now made it mandatory to be a website member before you can see phone numbers or use the email form.
